🎉 That’s a wrap on an incredible Fall 2025 at the ArtSciLab ! 🎉
This semester has been a whirlwind of creative collisions ✨, interdisciplinary breakthroughs 🤝, and community-driven innovation 🚀. From the classroom to the gallery, we’ve pushed the boundaries of where art and science meet.
Here are some of our favorite highlights:
• Creative Deep Dives 🛠️: In September, we partnered with the UTD Translation Center for an eye-opening Audiovisual Translation workshop with Katrina Leonoudakis! 🎬🍿
• Interdisciplinary Events 🎤: We hosted 5 inspiring “Watering Hole” sessions and partnered with the Crow Museum for a powerful seminar on Mapping Identity in the Asian Diaspora. 🌏📍
• Research & AI 🤖: From “Make AI with Purpose” crowdfunding to hosting Sigma Xi’s “Frontiers of Research” conversations, we are shaping the future of ethical innovation.
• Art in Action 🖼️: We honored the history of the Art Barn at the Founders Exhibition and explored imagined worlds in Eze Ogbonnaya’s “Aethers” exhibition. 🌌
• New Connections 📡: We officially launched our monthly newsletter, the ArtSci Wire! ✉️
A massive thank you to our collaborators, guest speakers, and the industry leaders who joined us this fall. Your guidance makes this lab a true hub for ingenuity. 🙌
Lastly, a heartfelt congratulations to our graduating lab members: Omer Ahmed, Jaszmine DeFranco, and Eze Ogbonnaya. 🎓 You’ve left an indelible mark on the lab, and we can’t wait to see your future endeavors! 🚀
