Yellow Pad Tutors - Not Scared of Math

We have been successful in helping students for the AP Physics 1 Test. We do meetings via Zoom. You can reach me by messaging on FB or [email protected].

Tutoring involves teaching AND learning. I have learned Zoom, because students can share a screen of Math homework. I also learned how to use my cellphone as a web camera, so I can show Math solutions on paper.
Math is easy. Technology is also easy. Learning can go forward!

Just did a remote Math tutoring with a grade school student using WhatsApp. If you don't know, WhatsApp is free to use. With the help of the Mom, everything went smoothly.

A student was sleeping in the back of his college Math class. Some friends of his were in the front near the professor, actively taking notes. At the end of the semester the sleeper got an A+, and his friends in front got Cs.

Why is that? The friends "studied," meaning they socialized, drank coffee, and texted their friends. Oh and did about 20 minutes of actual practice problems.

The sleeper slept because he was tired. He did lots of problems. Got tutoring on problems he couldn't do. Talked to the teacher or teaching assistant about more practice problems.

Don't study, practice.
