This is one of those cases where resident rights and safety have to be balanced. Especially with new laws, allowing assisted-living residents had alcohol without doctors orders (in Minnesota specifically, states have different regulations about alcohol use in many leave it to the facility to create a policy). What do you think?

An assisted living facility was found to have been neglectful after a resident had 12 shots and a beer before a doctor's appointment in June and wound up in the emergency room.

But, both the facility owner and the resident say there is more to the story ⏬

Look at this cutie! This is the 4 year old nephew of one of my students who is now going to be the official Wednesday mailman at the community. I've always thought that having a former mailman or a child (with a screened adult volunteer by his side) doing mail deliveries would be the best! I can't wait to hear what the residents at Shalece's community say!
