As we prepare for another wonderful school year, we are so thankful for the teachers who pour their hearts into our students each and every day.

Several of our teachers will be sharing their classroom wish lists in the comments below. If you feel led to help, we'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Every item, big or small, helps create a welcoming and enriching learning environment for our students.

With Amazon Prime Days and Walmart Deals happening this week, it's a great opportunity to pick up a few classroom supplies if you're able.

Welcome, Nancy Patrick!!!

Nancy is married to Terry and they have four children and five grandsons. Their youngest daughter, Lola, will be a senior at Valley this fall.

Nancy has been a jack of all trades but has always been a home baker and at times, a caterer including VCA fundraiser banquets in the early years. Nancy and Terry have been members of Eastanallee Baptist Church since 2006 and both have served in many areas of the church. They have been involved with VCA since its inception and know the prayers that were prayed and the tears that were shed over Valley. God has brought them through a lot these last few years and they give Him all the glory.

Nancy is excited to be the cafeteria manager at Valley and get to know the children and staff. She wants the Lord to use her to glorify Him in all she does!

We are excited to welcome Lacey Rule as our new Director of Special Events and Kindergarten Assistant!

Lacey has been married to her husband, Josh, for nearly 14 years and is the proud mom of Cove (4th grade) and Andi (Pre-K 3). She has also opened her heart and home to countless international students from TWU over the years.

An active volunteer in the children's ministry at Hillcrest Church, Lacey is passionate about her faith, family, and serving others. She loves celebrating life's moments, BIG and small, and is known for bringing a festive touch wherever she goes.

Her gift for building relationships, encouraging children, and creating joyful experiences makes her a wonderful addition to the VCA family. We are so thankful the Lord has brought her to our team and can't wait to see the impact she will have on our students, staff, and school community.

Congratulations to Genna Maier! Genna submitted an original painting to the American Heroes Student Art Contest and won first place for TN!! Her submission included an artwork and essay about Carl Gorman, code talker.
Genna and her dad will travel to Washington DC on July 7 to see her artwork displayed at the Great American State Fair! Less than 200 students across the country received this honor of having their artwork displayed and also being awarded free airfare for the student and one guest.
This is a HUGE honor! We are so proud of you Genna!! We can’t wait to see more photos from your trip! Go represent TN, VCA, and our Lord well in DC!!
