Fall picture Day is Friday, August 21st.

Kindergarten picture day is Friday, August 28th.

Fall retakes and Sport/Cheerleader pictures -October 5th.

Cap and Gown for Pre K and Kindergarten- January 15th.

Spring pictures and cap and gown retakes-March 24th.

It’s that time of year again to link your Food City ValuCard to Riceville Elementary School for the School Bucks program. All you have to do is visit FoodCity.com/schoolbucks , and login to your customer account. Select “My Account,” and then “Update school.” Select Riceville’s number is 60303, and select save. Your help will earn funding and rewards for Riceville throughout the year as you shop. Currently, they are offering double the school bucks on select items. If you were linked last year, you will still need to link your card as it starts a new challenge each school calendar year. Help us win big for your kids!

If you are interested in volunteering for PTO, please fill out the Volunteer Form that went out yesterday with the t-shirt order form. Our PTO helps in many different activities and programs throughout the year, and would love to have more help. If you are interested, please fill out the form and get that to your student’s homeroom teacher so we can add you to the contact lists. Our next meeting will be Friday, August 28th, 8:10am in the cafeteria. Hope to see you all there!

PTO T-shirt order forms and Volunteer form went home with students yesterday. Theses are the designs this year. Please fill out the order forms with your selection of design option, shirt type, size (we have youth and adult sizes), and get those back to your student’s homeroom teacher by August 21st.
Each design is available as a short sleeve t-shirt, crewneck or hoodie sweatshirt. Option 1 is only available in Navy, Option 2 is only available in Gold. Both are soft style material.

Short Sleeve Prices: Youth XS-XL $17; Adult S-XL $17; 2X $19; 3X $20

Sweatshirt Prices: Youth XS-XL $25; Adult S-XL $25; 2X $29; 3X $30

Return with form, cash or check (made out to RES PTO) by Friday, August 21st.

Don’t forget about the PTO meeting at 3:30pm, before the Open House at 4pm. See you there!

School starts on Wednesday, August 5th. It is an early dismissal day as students get out at 10:30. Students do not come to school on Thursday, August 6th as it is a teacher in-service day. Students return on Friday, August 7th for a full day.
