We'd like to thank all the new and old followers for watching our page. Please share anything you might like. We would like to remind you all that we are the only school in the country offering 8 different programs! You can either take them individually or in a bundle package! The complete course has all 8 programs while the basic course has 4. We will also be getting state funding and the GI Bill soon so watch our website and FB page for information as to any updates on that! We only have a few spots left in for either summer course at this time so if you are interested please call us to lock in a spot with a deposit! 320-393-2825.....

We will be giving our annual tanning classes again in Dec! 2026 Dates are as follows..
Dec. 4-5-6
Dec. 7-8-9
Two, three day classes but we like to fill the first one first. You will be required to bring in 2 fleshed and salted ( but not dried ) deer capes. Tuition is $1750. We will have our booth at The Great Black Bear Show in Grand Rapids this weekend! I will be doing live demos on mounting deer heads throughout the weekend. We also have a 4 day 1/2 body bear class we will be giving in 2027...Dates are as follows

Jan 24... Fleshing and salting hide
April 11-12 ...Prepping form and mounting skin to form
April 18...Finish work and attaching to base if desired.

Well the 2026 classes are a wrap! Classroom cleaned up ready for 2027!! Only taxidermy school in the state and one of a few in the Midwest! Most complete comprehensive courses in the country! New changes to the school coming next year! We will be packaging our courses into 3 groups or bundles!! We believe this is the most complete comprehensive course in the country. No other taxidermy school offers as many species or working projects as CMST! If you are currently signed up for the Basic Course and want to change it to the Complete Course that's not a problem just call me and let me know! 320-393-2825
The Full Complete Course will have the following programs in its curriculum. Deer, Fish, Birds, Small Mammals, Turkeys, Bear, Habitat and Tanning. This covers practically every aspect of a running studio. Although the price is significantly higher you will save $2000 on tuition vs taking each program separately!
The Basic Course is well rounded and will give you the best exposure to what is most commonly brought into a studio in the Midwest! This course is the most common one our students take and fills up regularly. Again you will save $2000 over the cost of each of these programs separately.
( SS ) Species Specific.... You can take any of the courses offered in the complete course individually over time if you like. Benefits are its not such a big payout in the beginning and you can spread it out over the years to see if you think this is the field you want to go into! We will soon have funding available with the GI Bill also available in the near future!
