Big thank you to the UW Madison Spooner Ag Research Station! They recently donated seeds to our Ag Department, which we're sharing with neighboring school ag programs too.

Our Horticulture class will put these to work in the spring, and we can't wait to see the variety growing in our school garden next summer.

This month, the Rice Lake Area School District is celebrating Belonging & Involvement by asking our students what it means to find their place in our schools.

From friendships to activities to the people who support them, everyone’s experience is a little different.

There’s a place for everyone in our school community.

The 6th Grade World Languages & Cultures classes engaged in an activity called "The Silent Village" to highlight the importance of learning about other languages and cultures. Each group represented a unique culture with their own customs and beliefs, and each group had to trade with the other groups without sharing a common language or knowing each other's norms. The groups then worked together to build a community tower to successfully complete the task. Students had a lot of fun in their acting roles and gained many insights into the importance of cultural awareness!
