ENTA - Education Network for Teachers & Artists

ENTA - Education Network for Teachers & Artists Collaborative arts-based education programming teaching core subjects through the arts for schools, community organizations & other learning environments.

ENTA – Education Network for Teachers & Artists – teaches through the Arts. We engage a variety of local professional artists and community organizations to work in collaboration with school teachers to develop and execute customized arts integration programs that teach core subjects through the Arts. We work in public schools, private schools and community settings. Each ENTA program is unique, a

s it is shaped by the artists, teachers and students involved. Our professional programming enlivens core subjects and allows students and teachers to experience learning in active, creative educational environments that produce positive results demonstrated by the engagement of students, the enthusiasm of teachers and the creative student products -- artwork, performances, writing -- that demonstrate a deeper connection to core material & newly acquired knowledge. We are very proud of the work we do and eager to share it with as many schools as possible. ENTA is based in Rhinebeck, NY, in the heart of the mid-Hudson Valley.

ENTA worked with Linden Avenue Middle School to help celebrate Earth Day with an outdoor exhibit last week. Crowds of students, family & friends gathered on Friday 4/24 to listen to music by LAMS students and see print work, blackout poetry and zentangle art of endangered species. It was an absolute MAZE of art to walk through in the pine grove along Linden Avenue. Wonderful work by the LAMS 7th & 8th grade students students with ENTA Artists Christine Livesey, Ali Roland, Alyssa Greenway, Joanna Hess and Angela Basile.
