Northern Dutchess Day Care by Ramapo for Children, in partnership with the Rhinebeck and Red Hook school districts, has been open and caring for school and preschool age children of essential workers throughout our area during these challenging times. Our strict health and safety protocol continues to follow (and exceed) the CDC and NYS guidelines. Procedures include nightly deep cleanings, nightly use of a sanitizing machine, and continuous daily disinfecting of all surfaces. Our teachers wear masks and monitor the temperatures of staff, children and caregivers (at drop off) with remote thermometers. Projects, activities, learning fun, and outdoor play continue! Our children are safe, happy, engaged, and thriving.
Families returning to work now face new challenges, with no school and minimal child care summer options. We can help. As we continue to care for our Northern Dutchess Day Care by Ramapo for Children’s family, we also extend a helping hand to our extended community family. We empathize with how difficult these times continue to be, and are here to facilitate care for your children in any way that we can.
