Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and a truly remarkable educator!

After 35 years of dedicated service, Ms. Hetrick is retiring from CG Johnson. For more than three decades, she has welcomed generations of students with kindness, patience, encouragement, and a love of learning that has left a lasting impact on countless children and families.

Ms. Hetrick's classroom has been a place where young learners took their first steps in education, built confidence, made friendships, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students have helped shape our school community in immeasurable ways.

Thank you, Ms. Hetrick, for 35 years of inspiring young minds, nurturing hearts, and making a difference every single day. Your legacy will continue through the many lives you have touched throughout your career.

Huge congratulations to all of the students who participated in CG Johnson’s Spring Runners Club Race! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Every single child completed 1 mile, even while braving the colder weather — what an amazing accomplishment!

We are so proud of the determination, effort, and sportsmanship shown by all of our runners. A special congratulations goes out to the students who earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes and will now advance to the DuBois Area School District race. Best of luck as you continue representing CG Johnson! 🎉👏

That’s a wrap on Teacher and staff Appreciation Week at CG Johnson! 🌟🎬🍿

Our Hollywood-themed week ended in the best way celebrating the incredible staff who make our school shine every day. On Thursday, teachers enjoyed a fun dirty soda bar and popcorn treat. Friday, we “dipped” into the end of the year with success at our dip bar celebration! 🥨🧀🍪

We also want to give a huge THANK YOU to Frank's Pizza of DuBois for surprising our staff with delicious pizza, subs, and salads. We are so thankful for their generous donation and support of our teachers! ❤️

Thank you to all of our teachers and staff for the hard work, dedication, and care you pour into our students every single day. You are the true stars of CG Johnson! ⭐
