One of Pickerington's special traditions is the annual Memorial Day event at Victory Park. Members of American Legion Post #283 Pickerington march from Violet Cemetery into the park and host a small ceremony that includes a 21-gun salute, the playing of Taps and a wreath laying. It begins at approximately 9:20-9:30 a.m.

Please join us tomorrow and help pack the park as we remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

🎓✨ The Final Lap as Elementary Students! ✨🎓

Today was an absolute core memory moment! We held our annual 4th Grade Clap Out, and wow… the tears and the smiles were both flowing freely. 😭❤️
Families, friends, and staff completely lined the track, armed with the most beautiful signs, giant balloons, and endless love. 🎈🪧 As our amazing 4th graders walked that track for one last time as elementary students, the energy was unmatched! 🙌✨
There were non-stop cheers, chants, high-fives, and so much clapping! 👏👏

Thank you for the laughter, the hard work, and the memories you’ve left behind. You have grown so much, and we are incredibly proud of the leaders you’ve become. 🌟

Join us in celebrating our phenomenal English Language Learners at Tussing Elementary who have officially exited the EL program! 🎉👏 Through hard work, dedication, and pure perseverance, these students have reached an incredible milestone in their English language proficiency. 📚💪
We got to honor their success at our school assembly and again last night at the district’s Celebrate ExcELLence event! 🦅✨

The Royal Kingdom of First Grade just wrapped up the ultimate celebration! 🏰🎉 To officially close out our Wit & Wisdom module, our little princes and princesses traded in their pencils for glass slippers and crowns at the annual Cinderella Ball! 👑👠
Everyone showed up dressed to impress and absolutely ready to royal rumble... on the dance floor, that is! 💃🕺✨
