The corn is growing well…however we’ve created a predator free environment so the rodents are having a hay day chewing the bottom of our stalks and felling them one by one.

The initial families who have been in our program will be invited to come harvest corn and tomatoes.

We have a trap next to the fence line where a gopher hole is located, and we will be adding castor oil and cayenne pepper to the base of our corn stalks to help deter the rodents.
