Maria Montessori was a scientist who carefully observed children to understand how they learn. 🔍 One thing she noticed was children in the 3-6 age group naturally engage in physical activity as a means of exploring and understanding the world around them. 🤸 She also found young children have a natural tendency to explore their environment through touch and manipulation. 🐚 Some of the ways that Montessori supports hands-on learning is through:

Happy ! Gardening with children offers them physical, academic, and emotional satisfaction and enjoyment. Students from The Grove Community School in The Woodlands, TX celebrate spring by working together to plant seeds and flowers for their outdoor environment.
