Here's a beautiful tale of two rival high schools working together for the good of their community.
After the school's homecoming game vs. Hurley High, Galena R-II School District High School (MO) members decided to capitalize on the rivalry to raise donations of canned goods ๐ฅซ for the North Stone County Food Bank in Crane, which serves the area encompassing both schools. Galena students aim to "Can the Tigers ๐ฏ," while Hurley High will "Can the Bears ๐ป."

Clubs choose the Dude or Dudette each year. The event lasts a full week where spirit days encourage kindness through chalk drawings, dress-up days and special treats. At this year's rally, teachers each received three helium balloons to give to students who show kindness.
