Our 5-year-olds spent the day diving into the imaginative world of author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds! After reading and exploring some of his wonderful books, our students put their own writing skills to work and drafted a special letter to Peter himself. 📝📖

They carefully prepared their letter, put it in the mail, and now comes the exciting part… will we get a response?! 👀📬

We’ll be keeping an eye on our mailbox! 🤞✨

🌟🤝 Friendship Makes Our Academy Shine! 🤝🌟

Our 5-year-olds at Kiddie Academy of Reston wrapped up September’s Character Essentials trait: Friendship! 💙 Throughout the month, our students learned about kindness, teamwork, cooperation, and what it means to be a good friend.

To celebrate all they’ve learned, they put their friendship skills into action by creating a special Kiddie Academy of Reston landmark! 🏫🎨 Working together, sharing ideas, and supporting one another, they created something that represents the wonderful community they’re building together.

Here’s to friendships that grow, memories that last, and little learners who know that we’re stronger when we work together! 🌈✨

We recently supported the Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive benefiting the Harford County Education Foundation with help from our corporate staff.

Together, we collected 202 school supplies to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

Art that makes a difference? We'd bid on that.

Kiddie Academy of Urbana raised $2,500 for Blessings in a Backpack – Frederick Chapter during its sixth annual Children’s Art Show & Charity Auction on Saturday, with an additional $1,500 committed through silent auction bids.

The funds will support Blessings in a Backpack’s efforts to ensure local children have access to nutritious meals outside the school week.
