I wanted to share "Circus Performer." A central figure leans forward, knees bent, hands threading golden hoops into a tense loop of motion. Warm ochre panels behind him, punctuated by vertical red lines, suggest a proscenium or tent pole. The shirt and tie read as broad planes of muted light while darker trousers and a grounded stance give the scene weight. Faces and forms are suggested rather than detailed, producing a slightly blurred, cinematic quality. A smiling clown-like face beneath the performer adds a disquieting counterpoint, and a small cluster of mask-like heads reads as an attentive, indistinct audience. Color contrasts between warm ambers and deep greens build drama without excess, and diagonal lines guide the eye around the scene to emphasize balance, control, and spectacle.
