Happy Friday, everyone!!!

We are truly blessed to share an extraordinary journey from Monday through Sunday with all our ATMAA families and friends—one of the most wonderful martial arts families in the world.

At ATMAA, we train together, sweat together, learn together, and grow together. Through every class and every challenge, we continue moving forward with unity, respect, harmony, and the true spirit of Taekwon-Do.

A very special and heartfelt thank you to our most respected ATMAA father and mother, Senior Master John Starks, Sir, and Senior Master Junko Starks, Ma’am, for preparing and sharing the wonderful dinner every Friday.

Your genuine love, endless support, kindness, and care mean so much to all of us. In today’s world, this kind of selfless dedication, generosity, and family spirit is truly rare and deeply appreciated.

Leadership is not only about teaching techniques—it is about sharing experiences, building relationships, caring for one another, and creating a place where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

Thank you, Sir and Ma’am, for always leading by example and helping make ATMAA not just a martial arts academy, but a true family.

We are proud to be part of this journey together, and we are thankful for every member who contributes to making our community stronger every day.

Keep training hard. Stay humble. Respect one another. Enjoy the journey together.

Where there is interest, there is always a possibility to achieve great things.

13-year-old, 8th grade student Miss Kelly Perez Reyes joined ATMAA just 6 months ago with a clear goal — to earn her Black Belt and develop greater self-confidence and self-defense skills.

Despite managing her school homework and other daily activities, Kelly consistently attends training classes Monday through Friday with dedication and commitment. Through her hard work and positive attitude, she has improved tremendously and is truly enjoying her martial arts journey.

Kelly joined ATMAA together with her two brothers, showing wonderful family support and commitment to training.

Miss Kelly proudly represented ATMAA, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the United States of America at the 2026 International Inclusive Taekwon-Do Association (IITA) 4th Online World Championship held on June 1, 2026.

She delivered a very strong performance, and we are excited and hopeful for wonderful news that she may achieve a Gold Medal at this important World Championship.

Best wishes, Kelly!
Continue training hard, stay focused, believe in yourself, and enjoy every step of your Taekwon-Do journey.

Make yourself proud.
Make your family proud.
Make ATMAA proud.
Make the Commonwealth of Virginia and the USA proud. 🇺🇸

Happy Saturday!
June 06, 2026

Martial arts training does not require expensive facilities or special equipment. We can train anywhere — at home, in the basement, outdoors, or on the ground. What matters most is our dedication, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Today, ATMAA proudly presented a small demonstration in front of the community and showed that martial arts can be practiced anywhere with passion, commitment, and a positive spirit.

A heartfelt thank you to Pradip Dhakal Sir for inviting ATMAA to participate in this wonderful demonstration opportunity. It was truly fun, meaningful, and a great time together.
