What an incredible Multicultural Night at Dogwood! 🌍🐉❤️

Our school was filled with joy, laughter, literacy, learning, and family fun as we came together to celebrate the many cultures and traditions that make our Dogwood community so special. From sharing stories and activities to learning about one another’s diversity, the evening reminded us of the beauty of connection and belonging.

Thank you to all of our families, staff, and students who helped make the night such a huge success. We are proud to celebrate the cultures, languages, and experiences that make Dogwood shine! ✨

Today was our SOL Kickoff for our 3rd-6th grade Reading tests! 📚🐉 Our dragons are ready to shine and show all they have learned this year. We are so proud of their hard work, perseverance, and positive attitudes.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff and families for encouraging and supporting our students every step of the way. We know our dragons are going to do great things! ❤️💚

From May 4th–8th, we’re celebrating our incredible staff with a theme that says it all… we want to taco ‘bout how amazing you are!

Each day, we’ll be showing our gratitude in fun and meaningful ways to recognize the dedication, heart, and hard work our staff brings to our students and community every single day. From the classroom to the front office and everywhere in between—Dogwood is a better place because of YOU!

What a wonderful week for our Dogwood chorus! 🎶

We are so proud to celebrate three of our talented students who represented Dogwood Elementary at the All-County Chorus concert held at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Their hard work, dedication, and beautiful voices truly shined on stage alongside students from across the county!

And just last Wednesday, our very own Dogwood Chorus wowed families and staff during our school concert. It was an evening filled with joy, confidence, and incredible musical growth.

Bravo to all of our performers and a big thank you to our chorus director for inspiring our students each and every day. We are so proud of you! 🎤✨

Our Science Olympiad Club represented us with pride today, competing against schools from across the division! 🧪🔬

A huge congratulations to Vivi, Viki, Genesis, Margaux, and Ahmed for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. We are so proud of the way you showed up and gave it your all!

Another successful Stuff the Bus event in the South Lakes pyramid this past Friday! 🚌💙

Our school communities came together in an incredible way, collecting donations from across the pyramid to support the South Lakes pantry. The generosity, teamwork, and spirit of giving on display truly show what it means to take care of one another.

Our South Lakes pyramid showed up in a big way for this year’s Stuff the Bus event! 🚌💙

Thanks to the generosity of students, staff, and families across all of our schools, we collected an incredible amount of food to support the South Lakes Pantry. This effort is a true reflection of what it means to be a community—coming together to care for and uplift one another.

We are so proud of the compassion and teamwork demonstrated by our schools. Every donation makes a difference, and together, we are helping ensure our families have the support they need.
