One of our favorite end of the year activities with our 4 year old classes, is to go hang out by the creek to catch salamanders, tadpoles and all kinds of super cool nature things!
There’s nothing more fun than mucking about in a creek with preschoolers!
The discoveries are endless!🦎🤩

It's fantastic when our alumni come back for a visit and Micah's extensive knowledge about fascinating plant life and geological specimens was super impressive! Our friends had lots of questions for him! He was so patient!😊

To end our Teacher Appreciation week, we were invited to a lovely evening of food and friends provided by our family group. What a sweet way to end a wonderful week and begin our Mother’s Day weekend! Teachers rock (and so do the people who love them!)
Also! Happy birthday to Miss Tracie!!

Yesterday a flower market and today a bakery?! Teachers continue to be well loved on by our amazing family group! Teachers deserve this level of recognition every single day and we strive to be the school that does that! UCPP has the best teachers in Reston… wait.. Fairfax County… nope.. In Virginia… ummm… THE COUNTRY! Let’s be honest, the entire universe! We love you!

Our Pre-K team is something truly special.
Mrs. Jasper, Mrs. Lansdell, Miss Priya, Miss Jen, and Miss Sam work together with so much joy, teamwork, and genuine friendship and it shines through in everything they do.
These classrooms are filled with meaningful learning, growing independence, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence as they help prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. From early writing and math skills to learning how to work together, advocate for themselves, and take on new challenges, this team lays such an important foundation for our students.
What makes this group so extraordinary is not only their talent as teachers, but the way they support one another. Their laughter, collaboration, encouragement, and deep care for children create classrooms where students feel excited to learn and safe to grow.
Thank you for all the ways you prepare our children academically, socially, and emotionally for their next big step. Your impact reaches far beyond preschool. Happy Teacher Week!
