Growing Together Through Conscious Discipline!

Last, but certainly not least, we want to give a very special THANK YOU to our amazing guest speakers, Ms. Angela and Ms. Kameryn! 👏

Our teachers participated in an engaging, hands-on professional development experience focused on Conscious Discipline, a powerful approach that helps educators build meaningful connections with children, understand the emotions behind behaviors, and create safe, loving, and supportive classroom environments.

Through interactive activities, meaningful discussions, and real-life classroom scenarios, our teachers explored the importance of self-regulation, emotional intelligence, positive relationships, and responding to challenging behaviors with empathy and intention.

One of the most important lessons of Conscious Discipline is that connection comes before correction! ❤️ When children feel safe, loved, and connected, they are better equipped to learn, manage their emotions, and develop lifelong social-emotional skills.

We are so excited for our teachers to take what they learned today and continue bringing these meaningful practices into their classrooms!

A Special Lunch Made Possible by Our Amazing Families!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible Family School Committee and all of our generous Celebree families who contributed donations toward our Staff Development Day lunch!

Because of your kindness and generosity, we reached our fundraising goal and were able to treat our entire teaching team to a delicious lunch catered by Cafesano! ❤️

Our teachers absolutely LOVED their lunch, and we received so many wonderful compliments! Your generosity helped make our teachers feel celebrated, valued, and appreciated. We truly have the BEST families, and we are so grateful for your continued support! 🥰

Monday Teacher Appreciation with De.voured Sips & Treats!

Just because today was Staff Development Day doesn’t mean we forgot that it’s MONDAY, and Mondays are for showing our teachers some LOVE! ❤️

We had the pleasure of welcoming De.voured Sips & Treats, who brought a special drink station right to our school! Our teachers were treated to delicious, handcrafted beverages and had the opportunity to choose their very own special drink! 🥤✨

It was such a fun way to start our day and remind our amazing educators just how much they are appreciated!

TWO MINUTES! Yes, you heard it right.

In two minutes, Celebree School of Forest Hill’s highly-trained teachers safely and calmly evacuated all children from the building during their fire drill. 🧯👧🧒

Many of our schools had fire drills this week.

Because safety isn’t a priority; it’s THE priority. Each Celebree School practices fire drills every month so that children and teachers become familiar with evacuation procedures and can respond calmly and confidently if an emergency ever happened.

Fall is the best time to explore outside! 🍂🌿 Looking for simple, free ways to help your toddler or preschooler engage with nature in a meaningful way?

Here are six ideas:

🍁 Color Scavenger Hunt: Pick a color and head outside to find leaves, flowers, or other natural objects that match it!

🧚 Create a Fairy Garden: Gather sticks, leaves, pinecones, and rocks to build a tiny fairy house or magical garden in your backyard.

🎨 Pet Rock Painting: Find a smooth rock, clean it, and paint it! Maybe give it a face, fun pattern, or colorful design.

👂 Outdoor Sound Hunt: Sit quietly together for one minute and count how many different sounds you hear. Birds chirping? Leaves rustling? Cars passing?

🔢 Collect, Sort & Count: Gather fallen leaves, acorns, or pinecones and sort them by size, shape, or color. Then practice counting each group!

🔎 Nature Pattern Hunt: Look closely at tree bark, leaves, and rocks. Can your child find something bumpy, smooth, striped, or symmetrical?
