Fusion Reston can mark it's first field trip of the school year with a hike out in Scott's Run Nature Preserve! Students and teachers hiked to a good spot where they had a fun picnic with a scaly friend, playing games and enjoying nature to round off the schoolyear!

Today was the first of our monthly Student Workshops! The students discussed what it means to be Inclusive - with a focus on working as a team! Students had to hide Bartholomew the Dinosaur from our Director of Student Life as they worked together to secretly transport it through the Homework Cafe!

Stay tuned for future updates and events from the team here at Fusion Reston!

Testing Testing! Get out of the way! Fusion Reston students are taking their physics class to the lab to see what happens to crash test dummies! Fusion Reston is turning 5 years old! We're so grateful to our families who have joined us on this adventure so far, and everyone joining us for the next school year!

We've had the amazing opportunities to support and help so many students and families who needed an individualized schooling experience.

Here's to another five years!!

Every legend deserves a stage 🎤🎨

Students: Our Spring Open Mic is happening Tuesday, May 12 at 3:30 PM ET / 12:30 PM PT and we want to see what you've got!

Musical performances, artistic shares, readings, spoken word, and everything in between — this is your moment to show the Fusion community what makes you, you.

👉 Want to perform or share something? Reserve your spot on the May Fusion Legends Week page in the Neighborhood.

And if you're not performing — come anyway. Some of the most talented people in this community are your fellow students, and this is your chance to see them shine! 💜
