We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jordan Deloch will serve as the ESJ Class of 2026 Commencement Speaker!
Jordan is a 2016 ESJ graduate and valedictorian. He went on to attend Xavier University of Louisiana, where he received the university’s second-highest honor, the Mother Agatha Ryan Award, along with a Service Key for the community service projects he participated in and led. He completed his time at Xavier in 2020, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Mass Communications.
From there, Jordan attended Southern University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2023. While at Southern, he served as a legislative law clerk for the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus.
After law school, Jordan returned home to St. John Parish and served as a campaign manager for current State Representative Sylvia Taylor. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is currently practicing criminal law in New Orleans.
We are excited to welcome Jordan home as he celebrates the 10-year anniversary of his graduation from ESJ. We look forward to him uplifting our newest class of Wildcats with encouraging words as they transition into the next chapter of their lives.
Go Wildcats! 😊🖤💛🐾🎉🎓
