LA Daily News : Beloved retired teacher dies, but his wisdom lives on Beloved teacher and retired Cleveland High drafting instructor Don Runyan lost his decade-long battle with cancer this week.

As some of you may know, the CHS baseball team's facility endured heavy vandalism. In addition, a lot of the team's equipment was stolen as well as the personal items belonging to each player (uniform, gloves, etc). Right now, the baseball team needs help and will take any donations to get back to playing. Please contact:

Baseball: Cleveland baseball facility is damaged by vandals Reseda Cleveland baseball Coach Scott Drootin said Saturday that vandals struck the team's baseball facility overnight, causing thousands of dollars in damage. School police were called Saturday afternoon to investigate.
