A group of seventh and eighth graders had the exciting opportunity to visit Missouri State University for the Children's Literature Festival of the Ozarks. Students interacted with several different authors and were able to sit in Q and A sessions with authors including Stephanie Bearce and Jody Feldman. Students were able to learn about the writing and publishing process, brainstorm ideas, and interact with other student writers!

Our Student Council and Lighthouse students have teamed up to create a Republic Middle School Spirit Wear Store!

https://creatordesigns.com/collections/republic-middle-school-a807

They worked together to select a variety of items that students, families, and staff can enjoy. Even better, all proceeds go right back to our students at Republic Middle School to help provide opportunities, activities, and celebrations throughout the year.

If you’d like to support our students while showing your Republic pride, check out the store and see what they have selected! It will be open through 10/16.

The Republic Middle School Student Council and Student Lighthouse organizations are raising funds to provide additional opportunities and experiences for our student body. Our goal is to give students opportunities to lead, serve, celebrate, connect, and create positive memories together throughout....

Over the last few days, our 8th graders stepped into the professional world during mock interview. This required them to shake hands, present resumes, and interview with leaders from our Republic community! This hands-on experience builds essential skills for their futures. A huge thank you to all the community members who came out and invested in our students, we couldn't have done it without you!
