Happy 250th Birthday to America!
& the Declaration of Independence that started it all!

Please celebrate this milestone, by reading that sacred document.
(You can read it in about 20 minutes)

Fifty-six men, with their signatures at the bottom of that paper, signed their death warrant, if they lost the war, but they ended their stance with, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” And it was “divine Providence” that helped our cause.

They also notified their fellow citizens and England, on that page, that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This means that “We the People,” created this government and are sovereign – if we act like it.

What does freedom cost? Sometimes everything. But we should remember that it’s easier to keep our liberties, rather than having to recover them them second time around. May we remind one another how important that principle is.

Those men also realized human nature, when they penned, “all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Never doubt your ability to make a positive change related to our Republic. By reading the Declaration and the U. S. Constitution (who’s birth date is September 17th) you will know more than the vast majority of politicians, who have probably read neither document, yet they swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; ” What’s the penalty for swearing falsely?

Election season is here, so study what the Founders said & wrote before you cast a ballot for a political party or candidate. See how they line up.
