EVP Opens August 7; Action Required for All Families
The Enrollment Verification Process (EVP) opens August 7 and must be completed by August 14 for all returning students. Taking a few minutes to verify your information helps families start the school year smoothly and that the district can effectively plan staffing, transportation, programs, and services.
Financial Analysis Core Team Met July 8
In July, the district’s Financial Analysis Core Team (FACT) met to review the draft Annual Budget Guide, ask questions and discuss district finances. The FACT group includes parents, community members, students and staff volunteers; this was the team’s fourth meeting for the 2025-26 school year. The group helps to enhance the district’s budget transparency and equity by engaging community representatives in meaningful budget analysis.
Athletics Registration for 2026–27 School Year Open Now
Registration is now open for high school fall sports. Don't delay! Registration is required before students may participate in practice or tryouts.
Submit Primary Election Ballots by 8 p.m. on August 4
Have you submitted your ballot for the August 4 Primary Election? The ballot includes candidates for county offices, state legislators and more. Ballots can be returned at any King County Elections ballot drop box; or by mail for free (a stamp is not necessary). The deadline is 8 p.m. on August 4.
Family Partnership Events for Families New to U.S. Public Schools
Families are invited to join us on Zoom for one of the upcoming information sessions (by grade level) hosted by our Family Partnerships team. These information sessions are designed for families new to public schools or the U.S. school system. August 24 for grades K-5 and August 25 for grades 6-12. Registration links are enclosed.
Back-to-School Basics: What You Need to Know

Please Support Your School PTA/PTSA
Thank you to all the families who support their school PTA/PTSA and help strengthen our school communities. As you complete Enrollment Verification Process (EVP) in August, consider joining your child’s PTA/PTSA and stop by the Issaquah PTSA Council table at the August 12 Resource Fair to learn more about ways to get involved.
Reminder: Back-to-School Resource Fair on August 12
As a reminder, ISD students and families are invited to the Back-to-School Resource Fair on August 12. Families who plan to attend are asked to register online, to help us plan for attendee needs. The event offers new and gently used clothing, school supplies for students in need, sports physicals and medical appointments, support completing forms, and additional resources. Volunteers are needed to help with the Community Clothing Closet. Details enclosed.
