The project is original in several aspects.
In the summer of 2010, Seattle University’s Sustainable Urban Agricultural Project (SUSUAP) partnered with King County Renton Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) to provide a fieldwork station to complement the classroom section of the proposed Sustainable Agricultural Project in the Seattle University Environmental Studies Program. The long-term goals are to teach SU students the skills necessary

Franklin Elementary School planted cucombers, dill, basil, sunflowers & squash. Mulched with Cedar Grove and Pro Mix soils. Mounded and weeded potatoes.
