Happy Valentine's Day! We're so glad we found a way to still spread the love this year to the Everett Veterans Center and Spiritwood. We had so much fun putting together over 100 cards and goodies! ❤️

Congrats to all the teams that competed in Unified Robotics this year, and thank you to Special Olympics Washington and Special Olympics Unified Robotics for putting on such a fun virtual competition!

Last week, the Iron Patriots had two teams compete in the 2020 Special Olympics Unified Robotics Championship! Liberty’s team, the Orange Rockstars placed first, and the second team, Serena and Carter, placed third! We also took home the Robust Technology Award, the Automation Through Control Award, and the Foster Award!!

Happy ! As a FIRST Robotics team, we know how important STEM and STEM education is, and constantly strive to learn more and to teach our community more about it.

We just finished up our first all-virtual Summer of STEM camp! Over the course of two weeks, we taught general science and STEM lessons to a group of 40 elementary schoolers! We're so glad we found a way to interact with our community and make some memories!🧬🔬

Congrats teams 4125 Confidential, 6831 A-05 Annex, and 568 The Nerds of the North for winning the 2020 PNW District Chairman's Awards! We're proud of you!!

One thing that being a part of FIRST has taught us is that you have to show bravery in the face of fear, and strength in the face of challenges. Right now, we cannot think of anything else that is more important to support and stand up for than the Black Lives Matter movement. 4131 stands up for, and supports, all black lives. We put together this post to give resources and ways for FIRST to support BLM, and we hope your team will show their support as well. 2020 competition season has officially begun and we couldn't have imagined a better start. From our awesome drive team to our memorable first Chairman's award, today was definitely one for the books. We're so proud of our amazing team and honored to call ourselves the Iron Patriots. Thank you so much to every team (especially our alliance partners today Team 949 - Wolverine Robotics and FRC 4512 Otter Chaos) and every member in our community that has supported and empowered us to become the team we are today.
