Holiday Gift Drive Starts Early This Year!
With the recent pause in SNAP benefits, many of our students and families are facing greater food insecurity than ever before. To help ease this burden, we’re starting our Holiday Gift Drive earlier this year to provide grocery gift cards that empower families to purchase culturally relevant foods that best meet their needs.
Every contribution makes a real difference for the families we support. Together, we can help ensure that all students and families have what they need to thrive this holiday season.
💛 Join us in striving for educational equity — because when families are supported, students can succeed.
Equity. Opportunity. Collaboration.

The federal government's decision to withhold more than $6 billion in K–12 education will have the following impact on CIS students’ success and well-being:
📚 Student Learning: Chronic absenteeism increases when integrated student supports disappear.
🤝 Family Empowerment: Parents will lose trusted advocates and navigators.
💼 Workforce Readiness: Today's unsupported students become tomorrow's unprepared workforce.
On behalf of CIS students in your community and nationwide, please call your federal representatives to urge the White House to release these funds, ensuring that states and school districts can provide consistent, uninterrupted services and support.
