For many working adults in Washington state, preparing for a new career path has to fit real life.

There are jobs to keep, families to care for, bills to pay, and communities already depending on them. The Apprenticeship College of Health’s degree pathways are built with that reality in mind.

Through Apprenticeship College of Health, candidates can build toward behavioral health careers while continuing to work, gain experience in care settings, and move forward without stepping away from the responsibilities they already carry.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re expanding the celebration to also recognize the people who support teachers by supporting students.

School-based wellness coaches, counselors, and care teams help create the conditions students need to learn — and teachers need to deliver the highest-quality educational experiences.

At the Apprenticeship College of Health, we’re grateful for those who support teachers and students by strengthening care and support across school communities.

Happy National Nurses Day! Ei Kaminaka graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, thanks in part to the RN-BSN program sponsored by the Healthcare Training Fund and Bellevue College.

Ei said the program’s part-time schedule provided the flexibility she needed to complete her degree: “The Bellevue RN-BSN program allowed me to work and be a parent. The Training Fund made everything really easy; they even bundled all my textbooks so I didn’t have to shop for all of them...I would definitely recommend this program to RNs who need the flexibility of a part-time program."
