Our mission is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

Our schedule for Popcorn Fridays is set with the first one coming up at the end of September, Friday, 25Sep to be exact. We can always use extra hands, come join in on the fun! The kids love it, and it’s a great time to chat with grown-ups too!

We meet in the MPR at 9:00am.
You MUST be VIPS approved or you cannot stay in the building!

To celebrate the new school year and the return of our lovely Fairwood Elementary teachers and staff, the PTSA hosted a Welcome Back Lunch on Monday, Aug 24. With help from Sunflower Cafe right here in the Fairwood neighborhood, the luncheon was a huge success.

Thank you to our PTSA Staff Appreciation chair, April, and to Sunflower Cafe for starting off the FW team with lots of fuel for the new year.

Please join the PTSA sponsored Popsicle Social tomorrow, Monday, Aug 24 between 2:30 and 3:30 pm. The kids will get to grab a popsicle, meet their new teacher and classmates.
