February 4 will be a 2 hour late start. CHILD families, we will update you in the morning once we have seen the roadways.

CHILD Families: after multiple attempts this morning, our driveway is not safe for us to open school today. We will continue to monitor road conditions and update you about Tuesday’s status as soon as we can.

CHILD is following our home school district and starting 2 hours late Monday, February 3, 2025 due to anticipated weather and road conditions.

Parents, check with your district to verify transportation status.

Friends, Staff and Families: CHILD will be open this week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before our Thanksgiving break on Thursday and Friday.

We are looking forward to seeing our students and staff on campus again!

PSE is still reporting 20,000 customers without power in our communities. Hope yours has been restored ❤️

CHILD families, we will be resuming school on Monday, November 25, 2025. Our staff has been clearing debris from our grounds, emptying all of the refrigerators, and will do a final walk through tomorrow afternoon.

With PSE still reporting more than 165,000 customers without power, we hope yours is restored soon!

Reminder: our school closures are included on the school closure lists with every local news channel, radio, our website, and FlashAlert.

Like so many in our communities, CHILD remains without power.

We will be closed Thursday, November 21, 2024.

CHILD Families: our Team has made the decision to close school tomorrow, November 20, 2024 due to the current weather conditions and power outages throughout the area.

Our plan is to access the grounds once power is restored to ensure it’s safe to return. We will post updates here, and through FlashAlert as usual.

Last check was over 300,000 without power in our area.
