What’s going on in the video clip? What do you see that makes you think that? What more can you find? These three questions are based on Visual Thinking Strategies. Here’s what we notice: skills transferring from formal learning environments (dance, cross-age mentoring) into informal environments outside after school. Where kids often self isolate into cliques of same-age peers, look at the acceptance, joy, interactivity and playfulness in this spontaneous group of human connection. School culture is built intentionally.
