Fun Fact: Krystiana has three dogs and has a passion for photography. Her favorite places to visit in Washington State are The Gorge and Palouse Falls!

On this week’s , meet Tirza!
Tirza is the Recruiting Manager for Jovie serving families throughout the Puget Sound region since 2019. Tirza was born in the Netherlands, raised in Maryland, and moved to Tacoma in 2018. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and has experience as a classroom teacher. In addition, Tirza has worked within several families as their nanny, including an Au Pair experience which allowed her to deepen her Dutch roots. One of Tirza's greatest passions is intentionally building relationships with people using words of encouragement, motivation and an enthusiastic spirit. She has a thorough understanding of what it takes to be a successful Role Model and enjoys mentoring our wonderful team of caregivers and fulfilling our promise of Building Stronger Families. In her free time, she is checking off a fun experience from her adventure list or socializing with friends.

Welcome to the first of our Meet the Team series, starting with someone you’ll recognize, our Social Media Manager!
Christi grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family & Human Services and Sociology. She started working for Jovie in 2021 in her very first job as the Recruiting Manager and has recently switched positions to being the Social Media Manager. Fun fact: Christi is also a full-time graduate student at the University of Southern California studying Marriage and Family Therapy.
Here’s a quote from Christi about why she enjoys working with Jovie: “I love working for Jovie because I get to work with a team of warm, like-minded people with a shared passion of helping parents create a strong support system as well as supporting children in their development by giving them a great role model and friend to learn and play with.”
