So much fun meeting our incoming Kindergarten students the past two days. Every one got to sign their Letter of Intent to be a Rensselaer Bomber! Looks like we have a great group ready for the 2026-2027 season!!

We took a stroll through the Jungle of Nool to the streets of Seussville today when we rocked the school with Dr. Seuss! Midwest Balloon Rides, courtesy of the RCES PTO, showed our students how a hot air balloon works and allowed them to visit inside. Couldn’t count the number of times we heard “best day ever!”

Teddy Bear Clinic was so much fun!!! Always a favorite event at RCPS!!!

Our students had their stuffed animals checked out by RCHS BAM FAM “medical staff” and made get well “medicine” for critter illnesses. Students made get well cards and wrote poems for their stuffies too. Representatives from Purdue Extension and Franciscan Health Rensselaer taught our students about germs and handwashing. Everyone left with a goodie bag including a new book!

Thank you so much to BAM FAM and the community representatives for helping create a memorable experience for our little Bombers!!

Students in Mrs. Jones’ class had a special visitor at their Valentine’s Day party. Officer Hammond stopped by to decorate a cookie and enjoy the company of our littlest learners! Thank you, Officer Hammond!!
