Check out all the awesome fiber arts projects we’be been working on in art class lately!

Kindergarten: mosaic hearts with stitched edges
First: sewing paper plushies & stitching to create a heart shape
Second: creating art with yarn- hearts with tassels

Cosmic Bowling in PE
Mr. Darrah created a very cool socially distant Cosmic Bowling for his PE classes. He shared the alleys with Mrs. Sousa class on his lunch period. 🎳

If you had a second grader in school this week... look at this adorable penguin habitat we made in art class!
❄️ ❄️ ❄️
Kids have learned about habitats with their classroom teachers and when I got a huge donation of styrofoam, I couldn’t resist this project!

We used paper plates painted blue for the ocean, styrofoam painted white with texture medium for icebergs covered in snow! And today, we created these adorable penguins using model magic!
🐧 ❄️
They’ll be going home in two weeks when the group returns for in school learning!
