For this month's late feature, meet Kayleigh!
Kayleigh is double majoring in Secondary Education and Mathematics at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is currently enrolled in the NevadaTeach program in hope of becoming a middle school math teacher.
Kayleigh is choosing to pursue a career in teaching math because she understands how difficult the subject can be for some students, and she wants to do whatever she can to help students struggle less. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, singing, reading, and going to the movies. She’s also a really big fan of superhero movies and classic rock.

For this month's feature, meet Chloe!
Chloe is currently pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science, and a B.S. in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Outside of school, Chloe spends her time teaching students mathematics at Mathnasium. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and is a huge Disney fan. In the future, Chloe hopes to attend graduate school and eventually work in the field of Environmental Health.

We hope everyone had a restful weekend. As a reminder, Mathnasium of NW Reno will be closed on Monday (12/31) and Tuesday (01/01) in observance of New Year's.

For this month's feature, meet Raghavi!
Raghavi currently works remotely for Mathnasium as the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator while pursuing a career in healthcare. She has worked at Mathnasium of Northwest Reno since December 2014 and has taken on various roles as Instructor, Lead Instructor, and Assistant Center Director.
Raghavi graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2018 with Honors degrees in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Spanish. Raghavi is passionate about equipping students with mathematical tools to prepare them for success; she truly believes in Mathnasium’s mission. She hopes to obtain her MBA in Healthcare Management to ultimately make an impact in the local and global community.
In her free time, Raghavi loves to cook, explore new eateries and coffee shops, experience new cities, and enjoy all that Reno has to offer!

For this month's instructor feature, meet Cynthia!
Cynthia serves as Lead Instructor at Mathnasium, and has previously worked as a camp counselor as well as a dance teacher for young kids. She is currently majoring in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor in Mathematics.
Combining her love of math and problem solving with her experience in working with kids, she can offer the skills needed to help kids grow in their learning. She plans on getting a Masters in both Business Administration and Biomedical Engineering to pursue a career in designing robotic surgical equipment. Outside of math and engineering, Cynthia enjoys playing the piano, dancing, kayaking, skiing, and traveling.

For this month's instructor feature, meet Wyatt!
Wyatt serves as the Lead Instructor at Mathnasium and enjoys working with kids of all ages. Wyatt is currently a student at the University of Nevada, Reno pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Mathematics. Wyatt hopes to be a middle school teacher for either Mathematics or Social Studies.
In his free time, Wyatt enjoys rock climbing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and pretty much any other outdoor activity. He also enjoys playing music and getting involved with the youth at his church.
