Congratulations to Colleen on passing her Commercial Multi-Engine checkride!
Most days you’ll find her in the right seat teaching students at Biggest Little Flight School. This time, she was the one doing the studying, flying, and checkride prep.
It’s always nice to see instructors continue investing in themselves and adding new skills to their toolbox.
Another successful program run by MEI Nolan Averbuch.

Congratulations to Antonio on passing his Commercial Multi-Engine checkride!
Antonio came to our accelerated program prepared and ready to work. He had clearly put in the study time beforehand, and it showed from the first lesson. That preparation allowed him to make steady progress throughout training and arrive at checkride day ready to go.
We’d also like to recognize the commitment it took to commute from out of town for every lesson while balancing the demands of training.
Congratulations again to Antonio, and to his instructor Nolan Averbuch for helping him earn the rating.

Congratulations to Mark on passing his Commercial Multi-Engine checkride.
Mark is somewhat unique in that he took the harder route and completed his initial commercial certificate in a multi-engine airplane rather than earning a Commercial Single-Engine certificate first and adding multi-engine privileges later.
Nice work by his instructor, Nolan Averbuch, as well.

Congratulations to Brandon Voltz!!🎉
Brandon is a local A&P/IA whose aviation career began on the maintenance side, where he developed a deep understanding of the machines he worked on. That hands-on experience sparked a desire to move from maintaining aircraft to flying them.
We first met Brandon while he was working toward his Private Pilot Certificate. Since then, he has continued to build momentum, earning his Instrument Rating and Private Multi-Engine rating, and is now working toward his Commercial Single-Engine certificate.
His background as both a mechanic and pilot gives him a unique perspective in the cockpit, and we’re excited to see where his aviation journey takes him next.

Huge congratulations to Sergio on passing his CMEL. This was well earned through consistent effort, focus, and a strong commitment to improving every step of the way.
Sergio is a civil engineer who owns a Cessna 182 and enjoys flying with his family for fun — making this achievement even more meaningful as he continues to grow both personally and in aviation.
It’s always rewarding to watch someone put in the work and see it come together on checkride day.
Excited to see where this takes you next — well done!

Congratulations Nicholas Sundstrom 🎉
Nick came in with a strong work ethic and a clear direction for where he’s headed in aviation. Outside of flying, he’s into skiing, climbing, running, and mountain biking… which honestly tracks with how he approached training.
He’s planning to move into Part 135 once he builds the time, with cargo flying as a longer-term goal.

Congrats to Kevin Gouveia for completing his MEI rating! 🎉
Kevin is currently a flight instructor with a dream of becoming an airline captain one day.
When Kevin’s not flying, he enjoys being outdoors snowboarding and hiking!
His next aviation goal is to fly for a 135! 🛩️
Huge thanks to his MEI Nolan for the excellent instruction and support along the way!
