TMCC E.L. Cord Child Care Center Our Child Care Center provides nurturing, quality care to children from birth to five years old. Practicum Program

The E.L. to 5:30 P.M.

Families from the community, as well as TMCC students and employees, are welcomed to the Child Care Center. We are committed to offering high-quality early care and education through:
• planned activities
• positive and warm interactions among teachers and children
• trained teachers and administrators
• ongoing professional development
• appropriate teacher/child ratios
• variety of age-appropria

• continuous and sustained improvement

Family involvement is encouraged and supported. Child care provides outdoor play time, rest time and encourages family involvement. The School Readiness Program is for children who will be entering kindergarten the following year. Using the Get Set for School program children will participate in multi-sensory lessons and activities with a focus on language, literacy and math in a small group setting facilitated by the Preschool teachers. Programs:
Infant 6 weeks to 18 months
Toddler 18 months to 3 years
Preschool 3 to 5 years

TMCC CLOSED MONDAY, AUG. 24

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the Hawk Fire and its extraordinary impact across our region.

All TMCC locations will be closed Monday, Aug. 24. There will be no in-person or online classes and no in-person or remote work, except for emergency services teams and supervisors.

We will continue to closely monitor conditions and share additional information about TMCC operations as it becomes available. Please continue to check your TMCC email for updates.

We are so excited for Carol as she begins her well-deserved retirement! 😊 While we will miss her after 28 years of warmly welcoming every child and family through our doors and keeping the office running so smoothly, we couldn't be happier for her. Thank you, Carol, for your years of dedication, kindness, and hard work. You have truly made a difference in so many lives.
