Happy Monday! Thank you for another fun and challenging meeting! Heather challenged herself to use a new storytelling technique. David led us through a series of thoughtful Table Topics and then seasoned evaluator Jennifer provide helpful feed back on Heather's speech. It is great having Susan as the newest member of our club, and special thanks to Division A Director Linda Bedell for joining us today!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our social night at The Village Well on Thursday! We had a great time talking about Toastmasters and even practiced answering some tough questions!

We had a really full meeting today! Thank you to Jennifer for leading the meeting and gracefully making last minute adjustments to account for two longer presentations. Thank you, David for an educational presentation on leveling up our leadership game. Then our president King led us all in a discussion to strategize and plan an upcoming in-person event. Thank you to everyone who was there today!

Another fun meeting of the Chamber Toastmasters! Vickie did an interactive ice breaker speech that was evaluated by King. David led the whole group in a round of fun table topics! We are not meeting next week but look forward to seeing everyone on January 23!

Many of our members gathered in person tonight for a time of dinner, drinks and DJ Trivia Sierra Nevada. We ended up zeroing out with an incorrect question on the Doe or Die question but a good time was still had by all! It was also so fun to have David join us in person tonight all the way from San Diego!

For our quarterly gathering we met in Vickie’s home with people gathering in her dining room both in person and on zoom. Past member Lee and future member Kim both attended in person along with Jennifer who was our Toastmaster and King who led table topics. Vickie gave a speech about her HOME (happy, open, messy, & economical) which was evaluated by Heather. Heather, Mike, and Dave participated via Zoom and gave a thumbs up to this option for our quarterly gathering.

What a fun meeting on Halloween...with some members in full costume! Vickie shared a speech called "Halloween Then & Now, an evolution of traditions" and King gave a thoughtful evaluation. Mike led us through some fun table topics and a great time was had by all. This coming Monday, November 7, you are invited to join us for an in-person meeting at Vickie's house. Great meeting with great people! Highlights from today included great tips from Heather on finding your authentic voice (smile!) and an informative speech from Mike. Kudos to Mike who had surprise surgery last week and joined us today to give a speech from his hospital room!

What a fun meeting! Heather gave an entertaining and informative speech about the value of improv in all areas of life. Anne provided her with a thoughtful evaluation and everyone had a chance to participate in a round of fall themed table topics. See you all next week!
