🍎 September at Little Lites! 🍂

This month, we’ll learn that “with God, all things are possible!” Our lessons will include Jesus Feeds 5,000, Bees & Honey, Apples, Fall, and Daniel in the Lion’s Den.

A few reminders for our families:
🍁 Little Lites will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
🧥 As the weather changes, please dress your child appropriately for the day’s weather.
🏷️ Please label all jackets and accessories with your child’s name.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful month of learning, worship, and fall fun! 🐝🍎

📣 LITTLE LITES IS BACK TO NORMAL TOMORROW!

The roads have reopened, and our staff members are able to return to town and their homes. We are so thankful and eager to get back to our normal routine tomorrow!

Children will return to their regular classrooms, and Little Lites will be open during our normal hours of 7am–5:30pm.

Thank you again for your patience, flexibility, and prayers throughout the Hawk Fire and evacuations. We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

📣 LITTLE LITES WILL BE OPEN TUESDAY, AUGUST 25

After hearing from our families, we have determined that Little Lites will be able to open tomorrow during our regular hours.

Some families have indicated that their children will not be attending or have generously offered to keep them home. With this information, we are able to make the necessary staffing arrangements.

To help us stay within our planned staffing and child-to-teacher ratios, tomorrow’s attendance will include the children whose attendance was confirmed by text today. Some children may also spend the day in a different classroom as we adjust our groups accordingly.

We are thankful to continue providing care and learning for the families who are able to make it to school tomorrow. We are also praying for the families who cannot attend because they have been evacuated—that they remain safe and are able to return home soon.

🚨 LITTLE LITES WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW 🚨

Due to the Hawk Fire and the state of emergency declared in our community, Little Lites will be closed tomorrow, Monday, August 24. Our Little Lites staff have been greatly affected by the evacuations.

We will provide another update by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow with information regarding Tuesday.

Please keep our teachers, families, and everyone affected by the fire in your prayers, along with the firefighters and first responders working to protect our community. Stay safe! 🙏

Little Lites will be OPEN tomorrow, Monday, August 10th.

The fires have caused concern and uncertainty for many families, so we wanted to confirm that Little Lites will be open and operating our normal hours tomorrow, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires. We are also incredibly grateful for the firefighters, first responders, and crews working to keep our community safe. 🙏

Our Little Lites showed off their stripes, polka dots, plaids, florals, tie-dye, and more for Pattern Day! We loved seeing all of their colorful combinations!

Things got a little HAIR-raising at Little Lites today! 🤪
Our Crazy Hair Day looks were colorful, creative, and completely WILD! We’re loving all the silly styles our friends brought to Spirit Week!

Our little friends looked amazing for Dress to Impress Day, as they filled the room with joyful singing, dancing, and worship. What a fun way to celebrate Spirit Week!

Spirit Week starts tomorrow!

Monday is Backwards Day! 🙃

Have your child wear their clothes backwards for a fun way to kick off Spirit Week! Shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, hats... even walking backwards... have fun with it!

Our potty-training friends: Please make sure your child can still easily remove their clothing independently for bathroom trips. 😊

We can't wait to see everyone's backwards outfits tomorrow!
