AACT Alternative Powered Vehicle Program This is the AACT Rover page, formerly known as "AACT Moonbuggy." The AACT rover program is a hands Each team must design and build a human powered "rover".

The Academy of Arts, Careers, and Technology, APVP no includes the NASA Rover Project and the Human Powered Vehicle Project that will be racing in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Both are competitive STEM based interdisciplinary projects developing real world skills for our students. The NASA Rover Challenge (formerly know as the NASA Great Moon Buggy Race) is an international engineering and endurance c

ompetition. The Rover must be able to fold up into a 5x5x5 space for hypothetical transportation to Mars. The buggy that was built had to with stand extreme bumps and almost a mile course. The drivers of the moon buggy have to be in top shape and be able to have extreme endurance.
