INBRE – IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence – is a National Institutes of Health (NIH Nevada INBRE’s first funding cycle ran from 2005 to 2010.

During that period Nevada INBRE supported researchers at the state’s primary research institutions: University of Nevada, Reno; University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Nevada Cancer Institute. Our Nevada INBRE summer programs are on in full force, including our 3rd cohort of the Microbiome Research Bootcamp!

Last week, some of our Nevada INBRE team attended the National IDeA Symposium of Biomedical Research Excellence (NISBRE) in Washington DC!

Dr. Juli Petereit and Dr. Nicole Falk-Smith presented a poster on the Data Science Initiative at our UNR Campus which was supported by an INBRE supplemental award for Building Data Science Capacity.
