🎓 Congratulations to our brother Jordan I. Lemus-Reyes!

Jordan crossed with the Omicron Chapter (Xi Class #74) in Reno and went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Biomedical Science & Biotechnology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Here’s what Jordan had to say about what this degree means to him:
“I am proud to be part of the Hispanic student and young professional community in STEM. Today, I belong to the 8% of Latinos in the US who hold a master’s degree. I can represent those who feel that they do belong wherever they go.

Nothing was easy throughout this journey, but having a home away from family had made the transition to another state easier and supported me along the journey.”

The National Marrow Donor Program () is tabling almost all week at UNR from 10 AM to 3 PM outside the JCSU, helping find life-saving stem cell donors! 💪🏽
