To wrap up and to celebrate the beginnings of National Reading Month, our president booked an adventure (😉) to Galena Creek Regional Park to refill our Little Free Library. 💙 Thank you to everyone who has donated a book, or taken a book from here. Keep reading 📖✨.

Our Monthly workshops are back! Unions are stronger when they foster community, so come and talk about your experiences as an aspiring educator while keeping your hands busy creating bookmarks for National Reading Month. This event will be taking place on Wednesday, March 11th from 10-11am in the Learning Resource Center (LRC), which is on the first floor of the William J. Raggio building. Of course, we will provide breakfast snacks and materials, and this event is open to all. Can't wait to see you there! 🗣️📚💙

Well… you’re in luck, because we are holding open officer nominations and elections. This past week, authored and garnered support for UofNEA's advocacy efforts for paid student teaching at UNR paid. S.R.93 passed unanimously, meaning that will support our efforts in this journey. This is a win for all, and a step in the right direction 🐺💙. Thank you Senator Moss for being an advocate and a true union member. Aspiring educators never back down 💪.
