Thank you to everyone who came to the 40th Reunion - Class of 1982. It was so nice to visit and catch up. For those who were unable to attend, we missed your company. And for those dear friends no longer with us, you will forever be missed and loved. Take care everyone until we meet again. ❤️

It is with a broken heart that we share we have lost another class member. Christopher Larkosh passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve.
Chris was a beautiful soul and a great friend to so many...an intelligent, kind, and fun loving man...he will be missed by the many, many lives he touched....good night professor 💔😢
His brother Daniel James Larkosh posted the following:
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write to provide notice that my dear brother, Christopher Larkosh of East Providence, RI and Oak Bluffs, MA passed away on Christmas Eve. I tried to personally inform as many of his friends and family members as I know, and the hardest was just informing our father in person. Chris's death was sudden and unexpected. There will be a funeral Mass for him on Saturday Jan. 2 at 11 am. There will be a link which I will provide. Please if you are not on island do not attend personally. We don't want to add to this sad time by potentially spreading the virus. I am sorry if you are finding out about this via Facebook. I tried my best to notify everyone personally or by asking relatives to do that. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the World Wildlife Fund. Feel free to post about Chris now if you wish to do so. Thanks for refraining until people could be notified. Peace and love. A happy new year to all

Is there anyone that would still like to meet up for informal drinks and a semi get together on 9/23? If so, where would you like to meet? There are a few folks that would still like to get together....
Good news and bad news...
The bad news is we did not have enough interested grads to have the 35th reunion at the planned venue - Washoe Golf Course clubhouse was great to work with and we can plan on going there for our 40th....
The good news is that we could still meet up in Midtown somewhere (thanks Chris for the suggestion) at the same time and date...then we don't have to worry about minimums or charges....

Reunion is set….spread the word! Our 35th class reunion will be held September 23, 2017 from 6:30-11:00 at the Washoe County Golf Course Clubhouse (see pics). Tri-tip/chicken buffet with all the fixin’s, no host bar, dance floor and gorgeous views….$35 per person….significant others welcome. Come party with us!!
We have only 28 correct emails and Facebook to contact everyone, so please share and spread the word…..
A link will be up soon for reservations. We need a head count one week before so we have enough food, so please, please, please RSVP….
We were thinking of inviting the class before/after us-ish….any thoughts? Objections? The more the merrier?
So.....still trying to find a venue for our 35th....here is the issue...
Most places have "minimums"....example: Pinocchios has a yummy buffet for $22 a person plus tax and gratuity...add the $450 room rental (room is awesome) and split it among attendees....maybe $35 a person...doable if it is well attended....we had about 72 attendees at the 30th and guesstimating 60 this year....
However there is a $300 minimum on the bar and a $1000 minimum on food....if we don't have enough attendees to meet the minimums the organizers pay the difference...have done that before but can't do it this time around...if we only have, say, 30 attendees, we lose money...
Any ideas on a venue that does not have "minimums"...Hacienda had no minimums 😩so it was perfect...
Hoping for dinner buffet, no host bar, dance floor, control of sound system, private, indoor or indoor/outdoor....
