Today was the day Brad could finally wear his “Dad, the Pilot” t-shirt—and for good reason. It’s official: Brad is now a licensed private pilot!

Not everyone can dedicate themselves to flight training full-time, and that’s okay. Just because you can only fly once or twice a month doesn’t mean you can’t achieve your goal—it may simply take a little longer. That was Brad Bieth's journey.

Between a demanding full-time job, being a devoted husband, and raising children with busy schedules full of activities, finding time to train wasn’t always easy. There were lessons that had to be canceled, and sometimes Mother Nature had other plans on the few days he was able to fly.

But through every challenge and setback, Brad persevered. He stayed committed, worked hard, and never gave up on his dream.

Today, that hard work paid off.

Congratulations, Brad! We’re incredibly proud of your accomplishment and honored to have been part of your journey. Extended congratulations to his CFI, Jason P. who mentored and guided Brad along the way.

Things have been quiet here the last few days due to the rain and wind. We definitely have not had our normal beautiful blue skies!

What are you doing on this rainy day to keep on tract with your aviation goals?

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice make the freedoms we enjoy possible — including the freedom to pursue our dreams in the skies above.

This Memorial Day, we remember our fallen heroes with gratitude and respect.

Another checkride success story!

Huge congratulations to Landon on passing his Commercial Pilot checkride! This is a major milestone that reflects countless hours of training, commitment, and hard work both in the air and on the ground.

We’re proud to have been part of the journey and thankful you chose Biggest Little Flight School to finish up your Commercial training. I know it was a challenge traveling from Utah, but I'm glad we were able to help you!

AND we have ourselves another Private Pilot!!! Big congratulations to our newest Private Pilot, Sebastian

That smile says it all — hard work, dedication, and perseverance paid off with a successful Private Pilot check ride! We’re incredibly proud to be part of this journey. This young man put in the effort and studied his butt off. He always showed up prepared and studied hard.

Extended congratulations to his CFI, Colleen Lesinski on making sure Sebastian was ready to join the PPL club.

Mission two in Vegas today, drop off one of our two spare engines for overhaul. The other is in the hangar overhauled and ready when needed. Super cool Ferrari in the parking lot.

Due to unexpected demand of our current Cessna 182 N5637G we just closed on another 182 to bring to BLFS.
She is a low hour (3500) cream puff with believe it or not original paint that was well cared for. Panel is currently a Garmin 430 with a six pack, but expect upgrades when time allows (equipment is already on hand).
Will be ready for bookings very soon and will be $10 less than N5637G (will be $215 an hour) since the Avionics aren't as nice.
Should be in Reno to check out late Monday or Tuesday. At least this one I didn't have to fly across the country to get it home.
