A Poem in a Letter

Before death takes away what you are given,
give away what is there to give.

No dead person grieves for his death. He mourns only what he didn't do. Why did I wait? Why did I not...? Why did I neglect to ...?

I cannot think of better advice to send. I hope you like it
May you stay in your infinity.

perfect with knowledge and wisdom.

Like droplets of water
in the vast sea,
glistening in the sun
bits of information
swirl and dance
whole with idea and thought.

Like sparks escaping
from the fire,

complete with LOVE.

Loving Myself Awake Meditation
Soaking in the moonbeams, preparing for another journey, dreaming of being kissed by the moon.

There is Some Kiss We Want

There is some kiss we want
with our whole lives,
the touch of spirit on the body

Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell.

And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild darling.

At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face against mine.
Breathe into me.

Close the language-door
and open the love-window.

The moon won't use the door,
only the window.

Reading these words resonates within my spirit.

I realize I am never alone for you are always with me.

The Divine Union of the Divine Beloved exists within,
I breathe into the Divine Dance.
I feel WHOLENESS in my heart.
I know I am Perfect in this moment.
I know I am Complete in this moment.
I know I am LOVED.

I Have Five Things to Say

I have five things to say,
five fingers to give into your grace.

First, when I was apart from you,
this world did not exist, nor any other.
Second, whatever I was looking for was always you.
Third, why did I ever learn to count to three?
Fourth, my cornfield is burning?
Fifth, this finger stand for Rabia, and this
is for someone else. Is there a difference?

Are these words or tears?
Is weeping speech? What shall I do, my love?
So he speaks, and everyone around
begins to cry with him, laughing crazily,
moaning in the spreading union of lover and beloved.

This is the true religion. All others
are thrown-away bandages beside it.
This is the sema of slavery and mastery
dancing together. This is not-being.

I know these dancers. Day and night
I sing their songs in the phenomenal cage.

Ajnâ — The Still Point of Seeing

Behind the restless currents of thought,
behind the flicker of inner dialogue,
there is a place that is still, quiet and peaceful.

A silent sky
stretching endlessly inward.

Breath softens…
awareness widens…
and the familiar noise loosens its grip,
like mist dissolving in morning light.

A gentle spaciousness emerges —
calm, unforced,
vast and deeply kind.

Peace, once believed distant,
reveals itself as ever-present,
waiting patiently beneath the surface
of striving and becoming.

Only remembering.

The inner eye opens
with ease, grace
and release.
Clarity has always been here,
quietly witnessing every experience,
untouched by the storms of the mind.

Stillness breathing itself.
Presence aware of itself.

And within this tranquil expanse,
a soft recognition dawns:

The peace longed for
has always lived right here —
steady, luminous, whole —
like a moon that never ceases to exist,
even when hidden from sight.

Anāhata — When Hearts Remember

There is a place
where breath slows enough
to listen.

A place where two bodies
forget their edges
and remember rhythm.

Chest to chest,
breath to breath—
the heart learns
it does not beat alone.

First, the inhale finds its match.
Then the pause.
Then the exhale releases
into trust.

And suddenly—
two pulses
choose the same tempo.

This is Anāhata.
The sound born in silence.
The meeting without effort.
The safety that arrives
before thought.

Here, love is not asked for.
It is felt.
Here, the nervous system softens
because it is held.
Here, time dissolves
into coherence.

Whether mother and child,
lover and beloved—
the heart recognizes this truth:

Connection is a memory
the body never forgets.

Beating together,
as one field,
one rhythm,
one quiet yes.

This is the heart’s wisdom—
not passion rushing forward,
but presence
settling in.

A sacred space
where love breathes itself
into being.

The flame in my heart that opens
to timelessness.

Remember you are
perfect, whole and complete
in this moment.

Follow your path,
lead the way.
They will follow.
