"Receiving the Distinguished Member Award from NCRA in 2025 was both an honor and a humbling affirmation of the power of service, education, and collaboration within our profession. NCRA and my local association GATRA has played a meaningful role in my growth as a cancer registrar, leader, and advocate, and being recognized by peers I respect so deeply made receiving this award even more special. This award represents not just individual achievement, but the collective passion, dedication, and heart that exists across our cancer registry community. I encourage you to submit nominations for any and all of NCRA's awards and take the time to celebrate the incredible work being done every day. I truly believe that recognizing one another lifts us up, strengthens our passion, and inspires continued leadership, growth, and engagement in our fabulous profession."
