We blew through another spring lesson this week. Sign word was SPRING and fab food was JICAMA. Not one kiddo was familiar with jicama but they at least know what it looks like now.🙌
Our quick warm up was a stop and go game that included jogging, hopping, push ups (well sort of, depending on the kiddo 😅) and jumping jacks. After this first game Milo said “whew, that was a workout!”🩵🤣
Second game was jumpin in the mud puddles, along with picking them up and playing with them. (hula hoops)
Last up we put two bags full of fake flowers on the parachute and shook them off. Super fun and very colorful game.🌈🌷

No Kiddin’Around classes for the next two weeks! We’re enjoying a little time with family and the sunshine! ☀️ Classes will resume the week after Easter. 🐣

Be on the lookout for these lil fliers to order your kiddo their very own Kiddin’ Around tshirt. It would be a perfect addition to an Easter basket! 🐣

We’re cruising towards a two week break after classes are wrapped up next week. 🙌 Look for tuition forms too as it’s time to sign up for the next session. ☀️
We had some March Madness fun this week at Sunflower 🌻, Lion and Lamb and St. John’s.
So BASKETBALL was the sign word and fab food was CAULIFLOWER.
We dribbled and bounced our way through a quick warm up, then tossed the basketballs into our baskets, and chose our basketball team using the parachute. Kiddos enjoyed the games and had fun showing me their skills.
Quote of the week came on Tuesday when Walker told his grandmother that I’m his favorite grown up. 🙌😅☺️🩵SO SWEET!

Lesson for Sunflower, Lion and Lamb and St. John’s:
It was back to normal material this week after our Olympic lessons wrapped up. SILLY was the sign word and TUMERIC was the fab food. With silly winter games being our theme.🩵
We had a quick movement warm up and froze in a silly position each time the music stopped. Then I broke out our foam rackets and snow balls and we did some tapping to see how many times we could hit the snowball before it hit the ground. Then with the parachute the kiddos headed underneath and made some snow angles. Fun stuff!

Okay. There is nothing more fun in Kiddin’ Around than our Olympics lessons. We had so much fun over these last few weeks! And this week was no exception. Getting to hand out 100 gold medals? 🏅 Priceless!
And we had many a cute moment today:
Henry when asked what sport in the Olympics he liked said “I kinda like that sweeping game”. 🩵🙌🩵
Brooklyn when she was awarded her medal and I asked to shake her hand, lifted her right hand above her, and you guessed it, shook her hand. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And Grace who when I asked her to hop on one foot, and then switch and hop on the other foot said “both of my feet are the right feet”. 👣😅
We still have two more weeks of this session which will include some silly winter games but it’s going to be hard to top our time in the Olympics. 🙌🇺🇸

What a fun week at Sunflower, Lion and Lamb and St. John’s! This week our sign word was OLYMPICS.🙌No fab foods this month because we have too much to discuss and play to fit in one more thing. 😅Fab food will be back in March.
Or opening ceremonies were a hit. We walked into the stadium with our American flags 🇺🇸 listening to the Olympic music. Then we performed a little with our streamers. Next up we lit the caldron with my fake Olympic torch. Last up we released the doves using the parachute to help us.
Your kiddo might be able to:
Show you Olympics in sign language (its a fun one)
Tell you the Olympic motto( faster higher stronger)
Tell you were the Olympics are this year (Italy)
Coverage lasts for two weeks. I really hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch with your kiddos so they’ll have an idea of what the real Olympics are and enjoy our time pretending even more!
Let the games begin! 🙌🩵☺️

Lots of fun on our workout week at Sunflower, Lion and Lamb and St. John’s schools.
“WORKOUT” was the sign word and CHERRY TOMATOES was the fab food. We did some serious jogging at the beginning of class. Like 4 minutes without stopping which for the most part, we succeeded at! Listening to the theme from Rocky while we ran.
Next we used our exercise cards to bust out more moves and then we chose our team (for upcoming football and olympics) using the parachute. Super fun lesson, and tiring. 😅
I checked our muscle size before and after class to make sure we’d made progress. Ask your kiddo to show you their huge muscles.💪
Also, quote of the week goes to a new buddy Lawson. When I asked him what our stamp smelled like (blueberry) he answered and said “salt and vinager chips!” Well that’s a new one! 🤗🤣
